This painting was inspired by an old wall texture I discovered at the Palace of Pena in Sintra Portugal. The last image is the first layers. 

Covered Series combines circles series and fluid series. It starts with a few layers of circles representing our spirituality, and is covered by a layer of fluid acrylic colors. This series explores the idea of covering up your spiritual practice with distractions, ultimately having to peel back the layers to rediscover the beauty of God's creation in traveling and nature.
